Future Possibilities of the Internet

With numbers of Internet Service Providers here in the Philippines offering to connect you and your computer to the Internet, choosing the ISP that is right for you can be overwhelming. Some ISPs are very large and well-known–like Smart and Globe — while others are literally one-person operations. Some companies strictly limit their service to providing Internet access. Others, like your telephone and cable company, may offer Internet access as part of a much larger package of services.

If you have limited knowledge about internet, you may want to start with one of the well-known Internet providers. They usually offer unlimited access to the internet and other extra services for free often include free installation, pocket wi-fi and USB stick.

I am writing this article to inform the public and to solicit comments in regards to the service that SmartBro  have provided to me. I have had problems with SmartBro since I started with them, when they claimed they are going to  fix the issue but failed to do so. I called their customer service several times and numerously told it would be fix in 24 to 48 hours.

The next day, I was not able to connect still to the internet, I contacted SmartBro again and was told by another agent the same thing. I am disappointed because the service I have been receiving is unsatisfactory. As indicated in the ad, I was supposed to get unlimited connection. I’ve been trying to contact their customer support representatives to help me regarding this issue, but it seems that my complaints continue to be unresolved and neglected until this day.

I expect at the very least compensation is to finally be connected. Ideally, they need to be investigated by the NTC (National Telecommunications Commission) or consumer protection agency or the Better Business Bureau for they have not supplied the service they promised. Not to mention Smart Communications unexplained loss of its subscriber's load . As this is clearly a breach of the contract I signed with their company, and have heard numerous complaints of the same nature from several people.
